Wasteland 2: Director’s Cut doesn’t change the story from the 2014 version, though given that there are several faction choices and do or die type decisions along the way (where supporting one NPC or group ends up having negative consequences – normally death – to another) the emergence of the Director’s Cut might be a good excuse to go back and play through the game one more time to see how the world might have turned out differently. The robots look a lot more scary with the new graphical enhancements of the director’s cut.
